Referral Partners

Your client is a reflection of you.

When you introduce someone to Finstac, you're putting your reputation behind that introduction. We treat it that way.

Fast. Clear. Professional. Relationship-led.

  • 01Former commercial bankers
  • 02Access to 100+ lenders
  • 03A director on every file
  • 04A reply within one business day

Why it matters

A referral is the fastest way to strengthen a client relationship, or damage one.

You already know the risk. You introduce a good client to someone who doesn't call them back, or who treats a complex file as an inconvenience, and the client doesn't blame the broker. They remember who sent them.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Every introduction is handled by a director, someone with a background inside major financial institutions, who reads the whole file before they pick up the phone.

It's not just about what you earn from the referral. It's about what your client experiences after you make it.

Our people

The people your clients will deal with.

Every introduction is handled by one of us, not passed to a junior or a call centre. You will know exactly who your client is speaking with, from the first call through to settlement.

Our commitment to you

What your client gets.

Your client speaks to a director

Not a call centre, not a junior. The person who reads the file is the person they talk to.

A reply within one business day

Every introduction is acknowledged quickly, and you're told when we've made contact.

You're kept in the loop

Appropriate updates at the milestones that matter, without us flooding your inbox or going around you.

Complex files welcome

Self-employed income, trust structures, commercial and asset finance. The files other brokers hand back.

We work with you, not past you

We don't provide accounting or tax advice. Your client relationship stays yours; we handle the lending.

Resources you can pass on

Plain-English guides and calculators you can share with clients under your own recommendation.

The partnership

A referral partnership designed to reward quality introductions.

We believe a good introduction deserves to be recognised properly. We'll discuss the remuneration framework with you directly, in line with what is permitted under our licensing and credit obligations.

Referral arrangements are subject to our licensee's approved terms and applicable law, including any disclosure and consent requirements. Full terms are provided before any arrangement commences.

Beyond the referral fee

  • A dedicated relationship with a named director
  • Priority communication on your introductions
  • A professional client experience you can stand behind
  • Co-brandable guides and calculators to share with clients
  • Educational resources for your own client base
  • Clear process and appropriate updates throughout

The process

What happens after you make an introduction.

  1. Tell us what you're trying to do

A quick conversation gives us the context: your goal, your timeline and where you're up to.

  2. We assess your position

We look at your circumstances, objectives and the lending options actually available to you across the lenders we have access to.

  3. We structure the strategy

We identify an appropriate lending approach, and explain the trade-offs in plain English before you commit.

  4. We handle the process

From application through to settlement, we stay involved and keep you updated.

Straight answers

Questions professionals ask us.

The things people actually ask before they pick up the phone. If yours isn't here, ask us directly and we'll give you a straight answer either way.

No. We arrange finance. We don't provide accounting or tax advice, and we won't approach your client about anything outside the lending brief you introduced them for.

No. The relationship stays yours. We keep you appropriately informed and we don't go around you. That's the entire basis of the partnership.

We'll tell them honestly, explain what needs to change, and hand them back to you in better shape than they arrived. A well-handled 'not yet' still reflects well on your introduction.

Within one business day of the introduction, and usually much sooner. You'll know when contact has been made.

None. Refer as often or as rarely as makes sense for your clients. We'd rather have a handful of well-matched introductions than a quota.

In writing, before any arrangement commences, in line with our licensee's approved terms and applicable disclosure requirements.

Lender access

Access to 100+ banks and specialist lenders, including:

Lenders Finstac has access to, including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, NAB, Westpac, St George, Pepper Money, Suncorp Bank, ING, Bankwest, Bendigo Bank and Bluestone Home Loans

Plus many more specialist and private lenders

Apply

Let's have a conversation first.

Tell us about your practice and the clients you work with. A director will call to introduce themselves, walk through how it works and send the Partner Pack.

No obligation, and no arrangement begins until you've seen the terms in writing.
